The Jungyo arrived at Tsukuba Mirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture today, and
Sekiwake Atamifuji had a productive asageiko session. After facing Ura  for
one bout, he was called out by Yokozuna Oonosato and had 11 bouts against
him, winning 5 of them. He even had a three-match winning streak at one
point, and at the end, he worked up a sweat by doing butsugari with the
Yokozuna. Nishonoseki Oyakata, who was visiting to observe for the second
time for the second day running, praised Atamifuji, saying, "His hips are
getting heavier. He's getting stronger and will undoubtedly become an
Ozeki." He added, "I think it was  good keiko for both of them."
