Subject: [Sumo news] - Terunofuji out-again.
To: Sumo Newsletter2 <sumo-newsletter2 at googlegroups.com>

Yokozuna Terunofuji will not be entering Haru Basho. Knee injury and
diabetes the official reason. "His sugar levels have risen lately but I
have no idea why.. He has been ale to train well lately. He will continue
training while out of the tournament. He is in much better shape than he
was before the last basho. Even today he was training.. Not enough though
to enter the basho. He really wanted to enter but he himself understood
that his tachiai is not up to par yet, nothing like it was in the past. He
was complaining mostly about that. He still needs to work on his lower body
strength. His upper body is in good shape. He is optimistic, since he is
able to train much more than before. He will eventually bring himself up to
par. He will definitely be joining the Haru jungyo after the basho,"
explained Isegahama Oyakata.
