Suspended and Juryo-bound Ichinojou participated in the one-day tournament
as well, losing in the second round to Kotonowaka. "I've been training all
this time but I'm suffering from back pains, feels like a hernia.. I'm not
doing well. I aim to return to Makuuchi in one basho," he said. After the
problems with his Oyakata, he made it a point to answer every question he
was asked with "I'm OK with my oyakata" or "I will be consulting with my
Oyakata".

"When will you be arriving in Osaka?"

"I will be consulting with my Oyakata".

etc.
