The Aki basho kicks off on the 13th at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. A surprising
photo released just before the event drew comments from fans, such as
"Aonishiki looks so happy" and "What a fantastic three-person shot." The
person who shared the photo—showing a firm handshake with the Ukraine-born
Ozeki Aonishiki on his Instagram was Masaru Hanada, former Yokozuna
Wakanohana who now works as an ABEMA commentator. Accompanying the photo
was the caption: "Ozeki Aonishiki-he had been asking to have a meal
together for a while, and it finally happened. Thank you, Head Yobidashi
Katsuyuki!" Fans flooded the post with enthusiastic comments: "Aonishiki
looks so happy," "What a wonderful memory," "That's an amazing three-person
shot," and "Thanks for the always super-fun posts." People also took note
of the elegant brown yukata Aonishiki was wearing, with some remarking,
"Aonishiki's  yukata actually has 'Wakanohana' written on it."
