Ex-Tochinoshin announced on his social media account that he will be
opening a Georgian restaurant, "Georgian House". Nearly three years have
passed since his retirement, and his physique has changed dramatically,
with many expressing surprise, with some saying, "He's slimmed down so
much..." Furthermore, a former Yokozuna also sent his congratulations.

He made the announcement in casual clothing. Tochinoshin posted a video on
his X account, greeting the crowd with, "Hello everyone. I'm Tochinoshin,
former Ozeki. I'm opening a Georgia restaurant in Honjo Azumabashi (Note:
Sumida Ward, Tokyo). I'm looking for people to help me, so if you're
interested, please come along." Fans expressed surprise, and also drew
attention to his dramatic change in physique, with comments such as, "He's
lost a lot of weight since he retired," and "He's gotten so slim."
Furthermore, former Yokozuna Asashouryuu also congratulated him in a reply,
saying, "Congratulations." Tochinoshin responded, "Thank you, Yokozuna. If
you ever come to Japan, please come and visit us. We'll be waiting for
you." During his active career, he  boasted a massive frame, standing 192
cm tall and weighing 176 kg.
