Rare sight: Holding hands with his three-year-old son, Temujin, the former
Yokozuna performed his dohyo-iri with his son, accompanied by Houshouryuu
as tachimochi and Oonosato as tsuyuharai. This was an extremely rare
sight. When Isegahama Oyakata began the Shiranui-style dohyo-iri ritual,
Temujin was entrusted to Oonosato, who then carried the child while
performing the tsuyuharai duties (which need years of training, BTW..),
creating another unusual sight. Since birth, Temujin has always outgrown
children his age, and his growth has now become a focus of attention for
fans. Regarding his current height and weight, Isegahama Oyakata revealed
that he is 105 cm tall and weighs 29 kg. While the average weight for a
three-year-old is said to be between 13 and 15 kg, he boasts a consistently
large physique, roughly double that of a three-year-old. A lot to look
forward for.

Injured Tsurugishou, Shirokuma and Hakunofuji all took part in Terunofuji's
danpatsushiki today. Tsurugishou responded to an interview after his bout,
saying, "It feels like the meniscus in my left knee, which had already
been injured, has 'tucked in'. At the time, it was so painful I couldn't
move, so I had to leave in a wheelchair (after the bout on the final day),
but the pain subsided after two or three days. I'll be able to compete in
Haru without any problems," he explained with a smile. Watch him being very
funny at the dohyo-iri today.. <https://youtu.be/0wotPNRtx2c>

Shirokuma also had a bout today, but he took painkillers and suppositories
just before the bout. The injury was to his right ankle, and he applied
taping that had been firmly before the bout, and after the bout he took a
bath and put it back on firmly upon leaving. "I went to the doctor and he
said there was nothing wrong with my bones or tendons. However, I was still
in pain so I took painkillers and suppositories in order to compete. This
was the first time I'd ever had pain in my right ankle. I'm really thinking
about going somewhere for a blessing or purification..." he said, dejected,
having suffered a string of injuries since last year.

Hakunofuji arrived at the venue even before the Juryo dohyo-iri, which was
the first event of the day, as it was his Oyakata's danpatsushiki after
all.. He also took part in the bouts, and while Isegahama Oyakata gave a
speech on the dohyo after the hair-cutting, he stood alongside the other
rikishi dohyo - side, participating normally until the end. However, he did
not reveal any details about whether he was in pain or what his future
outlook was.
