Takekeisho is almost unrecognizable! He has lost 60 kg!

The saddest are these:
It might have been.

Ex-Takakeisho (Minatogawa Oyakata (29) said goodbye to his mage today. The
"Takakeishou Retirement Minatogawa Name-Taking Grand Sumo Tournament" was
held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Following the Juryo bouts, a
hair-cutting ceremony was held in the afternoon, with approximately 300
people, including composer Tokura Shunichi, a member of the Yokozuna
Deliberation Committee, and Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko, cutting his hair.
Watched by a sold-out crowd, with tickets sold out in advance, more than 11
years after his dohyo debut, Minatogawa said goodbye to his topknot with a
set of scissors from his master, Tokiwayama (former komusubi Takamisugi).
His Oyakata from his debut, former Yokozuna Takanohana Oyakata, was not in
attendance. Minatogawa Oyakata never shed a tear throughout the ceremony.
His new hairstyle features a bold shaved side, with the barber describing
it as a "two-block, side-parted" style. Tokiwayama Oyakata, who came to
watch the styling, repeatedly exclaimed, "It looks good," while his good
friend and senior at Saitama Sakae High School, Maegashira Daieishou,
called it "cool." Everyone praised the new hairstyle. When asked how he
felt during the ceremony, Minatogawa expressed his gratitude, saying, "I
felt truly happy. It's been a year since I retired, and everyone created a
hanamichi for me to walk down for the last time. Thanks to everyone who
came, it was a wonderful ceremony."
He said he felt "refreshed" now that he no longer had his mage, comparing
the fact that his hair had actually been shortened to his current mental
state. "I was proud of my mage, and it was a symbol of being a rikishi. In
my mind, I had it sorted out, but now that I look like this, I feel like
'it's completely over,'" he said, his calm tone revealing a hint of
sadness. He had had his head shaved since he started sumo at the age of
nine, and it had been about 20 years since he last had a real haircut.
Finally, with his new hairstyle, he stepped onto the dohyo again, to
thunderous applause. "I want to learn from both the younger rikishi and my
seniors and do my best," he said, vowing to work hard as the youngest
Oyakata in his 20s.
