The jungyo arrived on the 26th at Wing Arena Kariya in Kariya City, Aichi
Prefecture. Ozeki Kotozakura had eight consecutive matches against Ouhou in
preparation for the imminent basho. "I just did what I could," he calmly
reflected. The 26-day summer jungyo is nearing its final stages. This
jungyo is grueling in terms of travel, but Kotozakura said, "I've done what
I needed to do. However, there's only so much I can do. I'm doing my best
within that." He was 8-7  in the last three consecutive tournaments since
Haru and is steadily working his way towards a comeback in Aki.
