The more infectious but less lethal omicron strain has hit at least 6
rikishi across three different heyas. The two retirement ceremonies held
over the weekend were an excellent opportunity to catch it.. Daieishou,
Tobizaru. Tsurugishou, Daiamami (Oitekaze beya), Aoiyama and Takanoshou are
the ones. Oitekaze beya was the hardest hit with four infected.
