10,000 Mpacks Attack

Hackers have launched massive attacks in Europe from a network of at
least 10,000 hacked websites, with infections spreading worldwide
according to several security companies. The opening salvos of the hack
attack started on Friday, and have steadily picked up steam robustness
as websites wither from the effects of a multi-exploit hacker kit dubbed
"Mpack."

Symantec researcher Elia Florio reports that the list of compromised
sites is huge and growing. Mpcak is proving to be one of the most
formidable attacks in recent history.
