The Sakura Ichimon

The Sakura Ichimon is open to any Bench Sumo Rikishi who feels that he/she has a special affinity for the home country of Sumo; Japan. This can be anything from the culture, the cities, the food to Cherry Blossoms or even simply Sumo.

So, what is an Ichimon? Bench Sumo players, like real Sumo Rikishi, belong to a stable called a Heya. Each Heya can choose to adhere to a larger grouping called an Ichimon. There are currently eight Ichimon in Bench Sumo that are presented in detail on the Bench Sumo Ichimon website.

Bench Sumo is a game for lovers of Sumo. It is similar to the Fantasy Football and Baseball leagues, only for the sport of Sumo. Detailed rules can be found on the Bench Sumo website.
