West Laurel Community Building

Located at the T. Howard Duckett park, the intersection of Bond Mill and Brooklyn Bridge Road. See map.

The West Laurel Community Building opened December 1994, at a cost of just of $500,000. It consists of a foyer and two large rooms: one 1700 square feet holding 240 people; the other 1300 square feet holding 160. Each has a refrigerator and sink; one side has a stove. Each has ten (10), six (6) foot tables and 100 chairs. Located at the intersection of Brooklyn Bridge and Bond Mill Roads, the large room is available to the public for private functions, by calling 301-918-8111. Present fee is $90. The smaller room is for the use of the WLRC but can occasionally be rented for $70, if available, by calling Dee Dee Sisson at 301-937-6613.
