My wife and I are next in line for the vaccine, with our being over 65, but it’s too late now. My wife tested positive 2 hours ago, so the doc says that I assuredly have it, too.  10 days of going nowhere. Sorry there’s no basho on to keep me entertained, but at least The Six Nations starts tomorrow. Six hours of televised international rugby for the next several weekends! 👍😃

That is what I think, Barbara. However, the critical information is still not in the news stories. What website? What phone number? English?

Doesn’t Japan have a schedule for who gets inoculated when? For example, frontline workers, first responders  and over 75 first,  other essential workers and people over 65  plus people with comorbidity indications?  I would think there would be a website or number to call to schedule an appointment?
In any event, good luck.

Good news as I live within sight of the Kokugikan. How will I receive my notice to come in for the shot or two?Do I find a flier in my physical mailbox? E-mail? What? Any ideas?I could also check the Sumida-ku website or even trundle down to the Sumida-ku county office...so unclear.
