[sumo] Olympic Yukata

Sad to see Hakuho’s tsukebitos in the hanamichi wearing his summer yukata patterned with the Olympic rings and 2020, a blue one and a red one.  Designed and ordered before the postponement no doubt.

Hakuho was very much looking forward to the Tokyo Olympic Games, particularly to honour his late father who won a silver medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico.

I guess he’ll have to hang on for another year.
