Well it turns out Ishiura got it easy.  The Kyokai announced their disciplinary action against Makuuchi Ishiura,29, Makushita Hokaho, 30,  and Miyagino oyakata over an incident involving Ishiura and Hokaho on Jan 4 at their heya.

Ishiura and Hokaho got into fist fights during their training sessions, Ishiura getting upset over what he perceived to be unnecessary push by Hokaho.  Ishiura also kicked Hokaho on knee and slapping him as well as hit him with closed fist, which is considered to be a Kinte, illegal action in Ozumo.

Kyokai announced they imposed a fine equal to 20% of his one month salary as well as given him a formal warning while Hokaho not being a sekitori got the warning only.  Miyagino oyakata who has had a similar issue at his heya (which we all know about) received his salary cut to 80% for three months.

Hakkaku oyakata, Kyokai chairman and their compliance team investigated the incident and had hearings from those involved and based on the finding, they acknowledged there was unacceptable behaviour from both rikishi as well as poor supervision by the oyakata.  They commented while there was no injury incurred by either rikishi, there were kicking and fist fighting during the training sessions.

However the Kyokai noted that the fight started more as an "emotional" response and not of intentional nature and as a result they said they only imposed a pay cut to Ishiura.  As a general rule, any sekitori who commits violence receives automatic one basho suspension.
