[sumo] OT/ Hurricane in NY

Here in the Hamptons, the Hampton Classic Horse, on 60 acres right across
the street from our house, was to open on Sunday. The Big blue & white
tents have been up for a week, and normally the horse trailers would have
been coming in the last few days.

Today, as we are expecting 80-100 MPH winds here, they took down all the
tents, and are postponing the opening of the show to Wed.

We are thinking of boarding up the biggest windows, and are taking in in
all the deck chairs and plants. Hoping that our big trees done come down.
And worried about the many many birds who live around our garden, and the
island, many of them new birds just born this summer.

Some special end-of-summer fundraiser dinners have been canceled for
tomorrow night- a great loss for the people who have worked hard for
months to put them together and sell the expensive tickets.

I will try to get all my most important SUMO artwork in one safe place and
hope for the best.

we don't know how it's going to go...
