I completely agree!  Hence my excitement when any such sumo fan passes
through Hong Kong - when I can chat sumo with someone knowledgeable
:-)

BUT, obscure to *almost* everyone - there are some people with the
knowledge, and I would imagine that a good newspaper should be able to
find one such person to quickly read such as an article, to remove the
erroneous stuff.
