Terao is thinner, dark coloring and edgy in his difinition( looks) . See a
painting of him at the shikirisen, http://traditions.jp/sumo-gallery.html
Off dohyo he lalways wore black rimmed glasses, which make him look cute
in a geeky, academic way. He was very different looking.
Sakahoko was always round, fat face, cherubic, pouty, and not often
friendly. He also didn't have the looong top division career that Terao
did.
He was very common~rikishi looking.
I never thought if Terao as easy on the eyes, but edgy, so certainly
interesting.

CNN reported on the artist: Few artists so completely dominate their
field that their name becomes synonymous with the subject matter, but Lynn
Matsuoka has succeeded in capturing the essence of Sumo and has won a
loyal following along the way
Her artwork is in corporate and private collections around the world, in
the Morikami Museum collection, and was recently requested by the National
Sumo Museum in Tokyo .
