Additionally Homasho had surgery on his left wrist after, IIRC, the Nagoya
'08 basho which forced him to sit out then entire following basho. This
caused him to drop form M2 to M14. He did rather poorly that 1st basho back
in Kyushu but seemed to get it together and went 10-5 in Hatsu and now 11-4
in Haru. Considering the records of the people above him I would expect to
see him ranked at Komosubi West for Natsu or at the very worst M1W but I
don't believe with his overall performance Tochiozan will get the Sanyaku
nod with only 8-7 from M2W over the stellar 11-4 performance by Homasho,
IMHO, of course.
