Ross Mihara: Here's Riyo Ohta with a hanamichi report. This one's with Gaijingai.

Riyo: Gaijingai, another bridesmaid dress for you. Jun-yusho in Sekitori Toto.

Gaijingai: Thank you very much.

Riyo: You must be very happy.

Gaijingai: WHAT? All I get is jun-yusho's! I tell ya, the fix is in next basho! Yaocho money will be flowing! Oh - Er - I mean - yes.

Riyo: To what do you attribute your success.

Gaijingai: I did my best.

Riyo: You also came in 4th with a stellar 11-4 record in the ISP, 11-4 in Upside Down Hoshitori Contest, and got the Shukun-sho in Ying Yang.

Gaijingai: Thank you very much.

Riyo Did you also do your best?

Gaijingai: I did my own sumo.

Riyo: So that's why you are smiling.

Gaijingai: Not really. Gaijingal and I were planning to come to Tokyo in May, but with the rotten economy we had to cancel our plans. Then last night a wealthy Japanese friend of ours in Tokyo Skyped us to tell us that she wants to fly us to Tokyo for some vacation time in June!

Riyo: So you'll see Ross and Doreen?

Gaijingai: We plan on it!

Riyo: That's very kind of your friend to do this, despite the bad economy.

Gaijingai: Hai, so desu. I lost so much yen in the Japanese banks.

Riyo: Yes, many of them are going under.

Gaijingai: The Origami Bank has folded and the Sumo Bank has gone belly-up.

Riyo: Anooooo.....

Gaijingai: Bonsai Bank plans to cut some of its branches and the Karaoke Bank is for sale for a song.

Riyo: Eitooooo.....

Gaijingai: The Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report there is something fishy going on at the Sushi Bank, where workers fear they may get a raw deal!

Riyo: Back to you, Ross!

Best regards,
Jeffrey Anderson
