Never having been a fan of Clyde (I once did a series of posts called the
Clyde watch, where I detailed his mis-cues), I have to say he was actually
quite good on today's broadcast.
Its almost like someone has pointed out that sounding totally depressed is
bad for a commentator, that always saying "looking back at that" may not be
very professional, and cutting off the other guy isn't good form.
In any case, he sounded upbeat, varied his replay delivery, and let Hiro
speak. I was pleasantly surprised at his performance.
And no politically incorrect mentions of Sumo World either.

(What is the world coming to when I defend Clyde Newton - Mrs Sensonishiki
can't believe it!)
