not my choice - the BBC staff in Tokyo get a call I guess after the London 
folk see the wires - they have their list of contacts on the various aspects of 
things Japanica and a few mins later, cycling down the road, my pocket starts 
shaking - sched fixed, they let me get home and use the landline.

No idea on the timing though - apologies. If they mail me (doubt it) I will 
let you know.
