[sumo] Please update- Time for a SML moderator???

I agree that the SF is a good source of information on sumo.  But there
are plenty of reasons to prefer a mailing list over a web forum.  Some of
us have many (too many ;-) ) hobbies.  Mailing lists allow us to
manage the overwhelming amount of information that we get each day.
People might be surprised to find out that I get well over 1000 emails
every day (not counting spam).

Mail reading software is a very mature software field.  Most modern mail
readers have advanced features for filtering, threading, searching, etc,
etc, etc.  You have a lot of flexibility without having to learn a different
set of interfaces for each topic you want to pursue.

Some day when RSS readers have the same amount of flexibilty *and*
when most web forum software has RSS, I'll probably start subscribing to
more web fora.  But for now I prefer reading mailing lists.  I simply
don't have time to go chase down information on every topic that
I'm interested in :-(

So I hope that people continue to use this mailing list.
