Everyone is glad you and your daughter are OK - it was completely 'freaky' to watch the videos - My daughter lives south of there so I was watching pretty closely -
Thanks for the update

Subject: [sumo] [off topic] [non-sumo] Tornado in NoCo
Hi all,
For those of you that heard about this tornado
yesterday in Windsor Colorado. I have provided a map
of the path that the tornado tracked and how close it
came to turning me and my daughter's life inside out.
A close call to be sure, but we are both OK and no
damage was done to our house or to where I work.
Looking at the map, the tornado was on the ground for
roughly a half hour starting south of Miliken. It
literally headed straight at us and lifted off the
ground maybe a mile or two away from HP, which is
where I was at the time. They say that it was about
3/4 of a mile wide at one point. Our house is just
another mile away in the NW direction. On the map, the
best point of reference for the location of HP and our
house, is just under "s" where it says "Fort Collins."
Pretty darned close if you ask me.
A lot of the folks I work with are not here at work
today as many lived in Windsor. It's only 5 miles from
HP. It could've been a lot worse if the tornado would
have stayed on the ground, say another 15 minutes or
started 30 minutes later it would have hit a city of
130,000 people. We are all very lucky the damage
wasn't worse than it was.
Anyway, that's my report and anybody that is worried
about us, please don't because we are both fine and
carrying on with our regular routine. I'm thinking
about going over to Windsor this weekend and help
clean up some of the mess.
Feeling very lucky!
Hinerikeri
