Only Dejima knows for sure, but at the time I thought that he  
believed that Homasho was headed out ahead of him, and that's why he  
didn't make an extra effort to stay in longer.  Doing so would of  
course have given those aging aching legs of his another jolt, and  
I'm sure he keeps those occurrences to a minimum.   Day 7 Rikishi
