Catching up on some old information, this was posted by Jonosuke on
March 4 over on the Forum (if this info was posted here, I apologize
for the repost, but I didn't see it):

*************

Former Juryou Ichonotani, 31, announced his retirement several days
ago saying he has reached the physical limit. He will be working for
a BBQ restaurant in Tokyo. His Danpatsu ceremony is planned in Tokyo
on April 27.

Ichinotani is a nephew of former Takasago Beya's Ichinotani,
owner/manager of Chanko Ichinotani in Akihabara/Kanda. The restaurant
is now in business for over 30 years and his son, also former
Ichinotani, is also working at the restaurant.

In the restaurant, they even have a Kesho mawashi of the first
Ichinotani from the Edo Era. According to them, all five Ichinotanis
have a direct relation to the restaurant.

If you are in the area, it's well worth checking into it. It's at
2-13-4 Soto Kanda Chiyoda-ward in Tokyo (from 5 to 10 PM except
Sundays and holidays), few minutes walk from Tokyo Metro Subway
Suehiro Station. Excellent chanko for around 3,000 Yen per person.
