 	It might not be a bad idea to look up the SML FAQ in the archives 
and see what it says about attributing emotion and intent to email 
messages.  I don't think the reply was posted as ridicule, probably more 
like surprise.  And even if it had intended to be a "less than friendly" 
response, just blow it off.  It takes to much energy to get cranky over 
pixels on a monitor.
