[sumo] LA & Hawaii Sumo Promoter Commits Suicide

I attended both the Hawaii and LA tours.  I thought they were poorly  
advertised and too expensive and consequently not well attended.   
Perhaps that is the mess to which Lynn is referring.

As for everyone being totally miserable, the organizers and  
administrators may not have been happy, but Mr Nishimura, President  
of the Sakura writing materials company which presented the the  
Sakura Cup, was very pleased and, from what I could see and what they  
said, the rikishi at least were enjoying themselves in both  
venues.    Needless to say, we the sumo fans who attended had a great  
time.

I too would be interested to hear more details from Lynn
