2 reports about Asashoryu.

 From the 9th:

No keiko for Asa today. "I spoke to him yesterday and he said he
would be resting. Everything is going as planned", explained Takasago
Oyakata. Asa told Kotomitsuki after the soken that he will be coming
to Sadogatake for degeiko, but he didn't, though Hakuhou actually did..

Last day of keiko at Takasago will be the 10th.

and from the 10th:

Today was the last day of real keiko for everyone. Asashouryuu
decided to end it on a serious note and went off to Sakaigawa beya to
check out the rising star and another one of the Japanese "hopes",
Goueidou. It was the first time he went to this heya, which is a bit
removed geographically from most others, a 30 minute drive to
Saitama-ken. He had 25 bouts against Goueidou, Toyohibiki and the
other Sakaigawa sekitori and showed extraordinary enthusiasm, winning
all bouts.

After the keiko, Asa stayed on and showed Goueidou stuff like how to
cope with a nodowa attack and how to deal with a throw attempt. He
then did shiko and suriashi with the lower rankers of the heya. "It
was a great learning experience", said Goueidou.

"His speed is something else.. Our keiko seemed sluggish..", added an
elated Sakaigawa Oyakata, who seemed to be honored by the Yokozuna's
involvement in the keiko. The Oyakata's enthusiasm and ways of
encouraging his deshi seemed to move Asashouryuu. "The Oyakata
doesn't beat around the bush, and a lot of deshi will gather there.
That's the kind of heya that is good", said Asashouryuu.
