I thought they met more often than that.  A search on Sumo Reference,
comes up with this --->

This suggests 12 meetings in Makunouchi (first in March 1994), with
Mainoumi winning 7 of them.  From memory I'm not certain if this is
correct, as I always thought that they ended up splitting their bouts
evenly.
