That is just too weird. Freedom Radio, the American radio station here
in Baghdad just played that song 2 days ago. It was the first time I
had heard it, but I knew immediately it was Israel. Beautiful song,
sung by someone who left us way to early.

Kamakawiwo'ole Song link location

Hi All,

I'm pretty certain that someone here posted a link to a version of
"Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. I found Barbara's link to
his tribute to the great Hawaiian sumotori (albeit missing Takamiyama)
[http://mog.com/Wahiawa786/blog_post/88678], but not to "Over the
Rainbow". Can anyone remember where to find that? I could of course
figure out how to set up an iTunes account and so forth, but I'm too
old/lazy for that.

I recently came across a nice version of the same song by a guy in
North Carolina and I wanted to compare it to the Iz K.
version. It's on my hard drive somewhere, but I can't find it.
I decided it was easier to ask than to spend my new years searching the
gazillion files on my computer.

Thanks a bunch,
      larry p
