[sumo] Where's Asa? (for New Years)

Asa wanted to spend New Years in Mongolia with his family, after 
Takasago closed (Dec 28-Jan 3), but Takasago-Oyakata talked him out 
of it.  It was also reported that Asa wanted to watch the sun rise on 
New Year's Day atop Mt. Fuji (apparently, most men in Mongolia go to 
the top of the nearest mountain to watch the first sunrise of the 
first morning of the new year). When it was explained that it's nuts 
to climb Fuji in the winter, he mentioned maybe renting a helicopter 
for the occasion.  Then it was reported that he'd spend New Years at 
an onsen on Hokkaido.  And *then* he was spotted boarding a plane for Okinawa.


On the subject of Asa going home for the holidays, it was reported 
that the majority of the phone calls coming into the kyokai offices 
were in favor of letting him go home. There were several calls 
criticizing Ms. Uchidate's surprise visit to Takasago-beya as well.
