JUNGYO

Besides the usual chiho jungyo tours of

both the urban and rural areas of Japan,

there are also international jungyo and

koen (official tours). These overseas tours

are primarily designed to demonstrate

sumo to the people of various countries

around the world.

KOEN

An official overseas jungyo sponsored

by the country visited by the sumo group.



Anyway, as I mentioned before, Andy's explanation does state that  
jungyo can be international as well as domestic, and that a koen is  
sponsored by the country being visited.   Cheers,
