The following two items refer to the "Wakanoho mess" that Doreen alluded to
in here reply to Johnofuji.  Apparently a new storm is about to break around
the shoulders of the Riji Kai as they attempt to deal with this.

Apparently the incident took place in June and the arrest just took place
now.  I think all of are aware, from the Toketaizan incident, that the
wheels of Japanese justice do not spin rapidly but for such an apparently
cut and dried incident as simple possession it seems slow indeed.

20 year old Wakanohou has been arrested for possession of cannabis. More
soon.

Asashouryuu did some sanbangeiko with Tochinonada today - 10 bouts, won all.
He showed some hearty tsuri and used his left arm as well. "With all the
achievements in the Olympics, how can I rest??", he asked.

"As a person, he did something he shouldn't have done. I think it is most
regrettable. When we have all the details, we will deal with this very
strictly. From now on, we will be guiding all kyokai members sternly on this
