My cousin did something kind of neat with Photoshop on a family 
picture. Her dad and his wife had never had a studio photo taken 
together.  Then he became a bedridden invalid, and never gets out 
except for trips to the doctor or hospital.

So my cousin took a photo of my uncle, and a separate photo of her 
step-mother (his photo was taken about 10 years before her photo 
was), scanned them, flopped one of them, and merged them.  The end 
result looks like a studio photo, and they were and are both thrilled with it.
