looked forward to the meeting of both  yokozuna.

a) It's a tabloid
b) written by Japanese reporters, who
c) were purportedly insulted by the Yokozuna (note the capital "Y",  thus,
d) bad press at any opportunity with a very negative "reportage'  slant.
 
Nobody puts  Asashoryu in a corner
