from various sources:

Quite a bit has happened with the East Yokozuna since Haru.

It was revealed that on Day 13 of Haru he pulled his left calf
muscle. The initial diagnosis was the standard "2 weeks". After the
Fujisawa stop on the jungyo tour he went back to a Tokyo-area
hospital for oxygen chamber treatment, at which time the prognosis
was revised to him being out for all of April.

After the tour was over he went back to Mongolia for a few days,
returning with his eldest daughter. His wife and son may come over
later, as his son has a cold.

On Friday it was reported that he joined in heya keiko. It's thought
he might go to YDC soken (he'd better!), but he's a bit worried about the leg.

He was 152 kilos at the weigh-in, 5 kilo more than his last weigh-in
and his heaviest ever.

Saturday he went to Izutsu beya for degeiko (the Tokitsukaze ichimon
rengo keiko), his first real keiko session since Haru. The report is
10 bouts against Kakuryu, Homasho, and Toyonoshima, winning them all.
A reporter said there was no visible sign of the calf injury, and he
showed a lot of strength. Asa said "My foot isn't going forward as it
should yet, but I was able to move better than I thought. My object
is to bring myself to be in the best shape for opening day."
