Subject: [sumo] L.A. Sumo tickets

I ordered my tickets (cheap seats) for the L. A. Sumo about 2 weeks ago. They arrived the other day in the mail. I had to sign for the package. It was a large manila envelope with the tickets of course and various little bonus items. A poster about amateur sumo, two sumo post cards, a small manga describing some basic sumo info for beginning fans, a small poster advertising the "Sumo Showdown in the City of Angels" (some marketing genius must have come up with that one), and a small 2008 calendar with a picture of all the Mongolian rikishi and marked with American and Mongolian holidays. It also has the two dates for the sumo tournament in L.A. printed in bright red ink.?

The post cards are cute. They have rikishi in the foreground of the picture, the "HOLLYWOOD" sign in the back ground, and a sign on a roof reading "2008 OO-zumo Los Angeles Jungyo".?

It's a nice little package. Now I just have to reserve my tent site at the L.A. KOA.?

? Jim?

? "Chitose-Taikai"?
