Nothing new I believe.


On Monday, former ozeki Konishiki announced on his website that he underwent
gastric bypass surgery last month in order to reduce his weight. 

The procedure, designed to treat obesity by reducing the stomach's capacity,
was performed in Hawaii on February 25. Konishiki reported that the
operation went smoothly.

I seem to recall a little while ago that there was something about Konishiki
having some sort of operation to help him lose weight.  I don't know if it
was on this list or on the Internet somewhere.  Does anyone here know
anything about that?
