	Ah, here's one I can take.  This is not based on speculation but
experience.  I have been an injured athlete and have coached athletes
who got injured.  Nearly always you will find them proclaiming
recoveries in time frames that vary from slightly unrealistic to full
blown insane.  So when you hear an athlete declaring when they will be
healthy just take it with a cake of salt.  Or two.

K-jo, who's motto was always "put me in, coach, I'm ready" and was luck
enough to have his father as his coach to keep him from breaking any
bones and such
