If all or majority of the allegations are found to be true many of the perpetrators
will be watching sumo on tv behind the jail
house bars.

Subject: [sumo] Tournament and visit

3 ozeki holding mame(=bean)-rikishi at the dohyo-iri
for the hochi sponsored tournament in Tokyo on the 14th.

Kotomitsuki was back to the jungyo on the 12th after severe stomach pain,
having been in hospital from the 4th to the 9th.
In the end no surgery was necessary.

The tournament was won by Hakuho, 2nd year running.
Starting in the 3rd round, he defeated Kisenosato in the semi with sotogake,
in the final Roho with yorikiri, cashing in 2,5 million yen for the winner.
Kotooshu made it to the semi.

"Kawai-gari" the correct way: Hakuho with Kisenosato

Kitanoumi-rijicho and Tokitsukaze-ichimon riji Isenoumi-oyakata
went to the parents of the dead boy Saito (17) to apologize.
The visit lasted about 1h.

Several sports papers report that the parents became furious:
"Don't know what they came for", "A performance", "Blaming the police".
They think about suing the kyokai at a civil court for damages.
Seems that as usual the riji-cho answered most questions with "under
investigation, so I can't say".

The doctor who did the official autopsy on dead boy Saito
criticized the Aichi prefecture police, who at first had returned the body
to the heya without further investigation.
In an Mainichi article he clearly states that the result of the first
examination, heart failure/cardiac ischemia was not the result of the
autopsy and thus false.
Without the parents acting after seeing the body, the case would have been
closed.
