It's a catch-22 situation. The people most interested and qualified to
talk Sumo have been leaving the list for a while because there's "to
much non-Sumo" going around. But when they leave, there's few left to
keep the topics topical so even more non-Sumo gets posted. Which, OC,
makes more of the qualified Sumo members resign; which leads to more
non-Sumo posts; which leads to...
Now is the time when the need is greatest for those who have left the
list. But having been a mailing list member/moderator/owner and server,
experience tells me that the condition will get worse before (if ever)
it gets better.
But as a codicil, events in the Sumo world have been getting a bit
crazy lately. Discussion of these topics is bound to bring out one or
two heated "conversations".
