Hello,
When we left off, the mighty Goeido had captured the Sumo Champ title,
and was preparing to put in on the line against fromer champ
Kyokutenho on Day 6. Well, he did, and successfully at that. He also
put away M9 Tamakasuga on the next day for good measure. But all good
things come to an end, and so it was with Goeido's reign as Sumo Champ
on Day 8, when M4 Toyonoshima came to take the title for his own.
Now, the letter and number "M4" brought a fervor to the upper ranks,
as the entry of the Sumo Champ title into the "meat grinder" ranks
brought the title back into their reach. In particular, Toyonoshims's
Day 9 opponent the Yokozuna Hakuho.
Y'all know the story from there. Hakuho took the crown and has been
holding it ever since, leading us to the FINAL Sumo Champ battle:
defending champ Hakuho vs ozeki Kotomitsuki for the honor of being the
final Sumo Champ, and at last bringing victory to one of the intrepid
Sumo Champ game players.
Who will win? Who will lose? Who cares? We will find out in a few
short hours!
