[sumo] New overseas visit regulations

I have been IN there all these years and I can tell you it has been crystal
clear, but this is all about the erosion of or disregard of honor, which is
supposed to be a large part of Sumo.
Up until now, the rikishi and oyakata honored the rule- it didn't need to
be stamped on their forehead. Just as many other ³unwritten rules² in sumo,
and in Japanese society at large, are honored. I remember talking to
Akebono years ago when he wanted to leave the country to get much needed
medical treatment-to rid him of pain and save his career. It was a bear to
get permission, but he had to languish until he could get the sanction to
leave. So now they will spell it out in neon for those who won¹t honor the
³honor system².
