This will likely show up on the TVJapan bilingual news for those who have it
in the States. That would be at 6 AM and 8AM, respectively, on the East
Coast. A local channel here in Tokyo just had a longish piece on the
retirement, which included interviews with Kaio, Chiyotaikai and Asashoryu.
They also interviewed Tochiazuma, himself, of course, as well as his
doctors, who showed an MRI x-ray and what looked to this non-medical person
as a "thing" in the right side of the brain/head. If you're awake and see
this post, and have Japan TV, turn in to either or both NHK newscasts. I
suspect the longer version will be on the 8 AM (Eastern) broadcast, since
that's the hour-long news.
