[sumo] FW: Tide Turns in Ramadi [off-topic]

I have to respectfully disagree with you, but this would be best
decided by those of you who are longer time members of the list.

I don't think that experiences of list members that are labeled [off
topic] are off topic for this list. If that is acceptable, the
comments to censor will not be posted. If you do start to moderate
the list, then where and will the censorship stop? Who decides? If
someone on the list has a family member with cancer, should they not
be able to post questions here to those who may be able to assist
them? (I've personally arranged for a doctor's appointment at a
cancer center in Washington state, from my office in NYC, for
someone on a different list). I think that people are intelligent
enough to determine what posts they want to read without
censorship. My vote, should it be accepted after tonight, would be
that only those posts that call for censorship of experiences of
mailing list recipients, especially anonymous ones, be deleted by
the moderator.
