Just to flesh out the Sports Hochi article a little bit, it said that the new set of twins is the eleventh ever in Ozumo, with the most recent previous ones joining up in Haru 2000 (not 2005)...these must have been the Araiso-beya Fujita twins Joe mentioned as well as the Magaki-beya Tamaki twins (all joined in 2000).

And as Moti mentioned, the new guys are apparently the second twins to join simultaneously but in different stables, with the previous occurrence being way back in Haru 1984.
