[sumo] Sumo cable channel

Does anyone know whether the Kyokai is entertaining thoughts of 
establishing its own sumo cable channel?  During tournaments, the Sumo 
channel could run live feeds of lower division bouts, before handing off 
to NHK for the main event.  It could also replay the day's top division 
matches.  Between basho, there is so much programming that it could 
offer, live and taped.  I'm sure they could attract enough sponsors to 
make this financially feasible.

The Sumo Channel could also improve the following of sumo in Japan, and 
wouldn't it be great if the Sumo Channel were available 
internationally.  What immovable forces would have to be overcome for 
this to be done?
