Hi list !

For those who had the great priviledge to watch the complete yusho
awards ceremony, did you notice the return of the french price ?

You can check a complete explanantion of the yusho awards ceremony in
the great site made by Atsuo Tsubota:
http://www.ep.sci.hokudai.ac.jp/~tsubota/kansen/040515hy.html (in
japanese only !)
(close-up on the french prize:

As I told you a few moths ago, our new president in France cancelled the
french price, which was actually named "the price of Jacques Chirac, the
president of the french republic" (??? ???????????). As Nicolas Sarkozy
and Jacques Chirac were not exactly the best friends, this prize named
after Chirac was clearly about to be dead.

However, some said that the official name was about to change, and thus
the price would be back in the business. So, was it the case on sunday ?

Greetings from Paris,
Thierry
