The September basho ticket goes on sale on Saturday
August 4. You can buy it from the Kyokai box office in
person, call Ticket Pia (Japan's answer to
Ticketmaster) and other outlets such as your local
Lawson or Family Mart convenience store.

Will you be anywhere around Tokyo area? I will be in
Japan from this weekend for 10 days or so.  I just
ordered a cell rental at Pupuru but I won't get the
number until I get there unfortunately.

It will be hot and humid and no sumo for now but then
for you, you only have to wait for for six weeks or
so.
